Music was her passion and also helped her achieve her ambitions. Apryl began her career through a group of singers. Following her move and competed on American Idol but didn't make it far. Apryl tried to audition to be in Making the Band. However, it did not go well for her. Apryl was a guest in Search For The Next Doll and auditioned as a new member of Pussycat Dolls. Apryl was not selected because she did not impress the jury. Later, she was met by a popular artist and went on tours as an assistant singer. They decided to join the first cast of Vh1's popular series Hollywood. The first season explores the pregnancy and birth of Megaa Grandberry. Her career struggles and insecurities are explored during season 2. Omarion as well as Apryl were not present at the filming of the reunion season's second installment since Omarion was on tour. Apryl disclosed on December 7, 2015 that they had both left the show. They will not appear in the next season. Apryl's baby girl A'mei was born March 7th 2016. Apryl, Omarion and their daughter A'mei Kazuko revealed that they broke in a matter of four months. Apryl appeared on the show during Season 4 when she met up with Lil' Fizz, to discuss the possibility of a B2K reunion. Apryl returned to the show for season six which focused on her custody battle with Omarion along with the speculation in the press and scrutiny around her relationship Lil' Fizz. In season six of Apryl the two of them Fizz admit they have an intimate relationship which results in her conflicting with Moniece.
