Audrey Tautou
Audrey Tautou born Beaumont, at Puy-deDomme, France on the 9th of August 1976. Audrey is the largest child among four children. At a young age, both her dental surgeon parents and her teacher mom supported her love of drama and theater. This passion that overshadowed her initial wish to become a an animal scientist. The actress became famous as a child actress quickly and achieved enormous success. When she first began her acting career, Tautou was a participant in Jeunes Premiers which was a French talent search TV program that was sponsored by Canal+ in 1998. Also, she was awarded the the title of Best Young Actress for her performance in the Beziers Festival of Young Actors. Tautou was a student at in the Institut Catholique de Paris in Paris as a child and studied there at the age of a child but has sworn off her Catholic education. She now declares herself to be non-Catholic. Alongside her acting work, she also pursued modelling. She modelled in the commercials for L'Oreal Mont Blanc, Chanel and is known as "The Chanel Muse". She is a keen photographer and produced a recent exhibition in the Arles International Festival that was titled Superficial. Her photos are mostly about fame and celebrity. They also feature self-portraits and also. Audrey Tautou's international success and fame soared after her appearance as Amelie Poulain's main actress in the film Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amelie Poulain. Amelie has been undoubtedly a huge box office smash internationally and has been lauded at numerous award festivals around the globe. It's the largest French language film to ever be released in the US. The success of this movie led Tautou to a variety of roles, including British dramas like Dirty Pretty Things by Stephen Knight and Jean Pierre Jeunet to Hollywood's The Da Vinci Code with Tom Hanks.
