David-Muir

David Muir (born August 25 1948) is an American anchor, journalist and reporter. The most famous of his work is for his show World News Tonight. The show is watched by millions of American, David Muir's show is well-known for its gossipy celebrity videos as well as animated gestures. Also, he is known for his Emmy-nominated series Made In America. His predecessor, Diane Sawyer's primary replacement anchor until he was appointed anchor at ABC World News Tonight. He's reported on a variety of evening specials on primetime ABC News some recent ones including Breaking Point: Heroin in America and Flashpoint: Refugees in America. He has traveled around the globe to report on stories from Gaza Egypt Iran Somalia Japan Peru Ukraine Haiti and the Gulf of Mexico. He has received multiple Emmy Awards Edward R. Murrow Awards as well as distinctions from the Associated Press.
