Ally Sheedy
Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy born in June 1962 is an American actress from America. Following her film debut during the 1983 film Bad Boys she became known for her role in the Brat Pack of actors. She was also on the screen in WarGames (1983) The Breakfast Club (1985) and Short Circuit (1986). Sheedy's performance in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (2000) won her the Independent Spirit Award, Best Female Actor. Ally Sheedy is an American writer and actress. She began her film career by appearing in the crime-drama film Bad Boys in the early 1980s. She received a lot of praise. Rick Rosenthal directed the movie and also starred prominent actors Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown Alan Ruck. In 1985, after her successful debut in a film she starred as a character in The Breakfast Club - a comedy/drama. John Hughes' film, produced by him, is considered to be one of the most acclaimed high-school movies in history. Although the budget for this movie was $1 million it has made more than $50 million. Additionally, she began appearing in various TV shows like CBS Schoolbreak which was her TV debut. The show premiered in April of 1980. show started airing. It was intended for teenagers. Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid as well as Hill Street Blues are other programs on TV where she was a part of. The most recent of her appearances is Little Sister. Another one, X-Men Apocalypse a story featuring a female superhero in which Sheedy appears in a cameo. Sheedy won numerous prizes in 2005 for her performance. She was also awarded an MTV Movie Award, Silver Bucket of Excellence Award.
